Abner Oakes of Oakes Educational Consulting needed a refresh of his website, which is primarily a blog. He wanted to expand his message to convey all the services he and his partners provided in education. For this project he needed a new website design, logo and hooks into his MailChimp account. The design for Oakes Educational Consulting was derived from the client’s desire to avoid using his full name for a logo. He would be partnering with others and didn’t want the name to feel overbearing, but he still wanted to keep an subtle essence of his namesake a part of the design.
